Anyone else catch this premiere on Adult Swim tonight?  I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard, and the last time something never gave me a chance to even breathe between laughing fits.  The episodes are only ten minutes long, and my lungs are searing.  I hope they keep this one up for a long, long time.

I liked the stop-motion animation, but was bored by the "writing" or the humor of it. A spoof of the "This is your brain on drugs" PSAs, how played out and 10 years too late is that? Optimus Prime stealing lines from "Fletch"? I guess the Optimus Prime dying thing is funnier to bigger fanboys than me (I work with a guy whose fascination for all things Transformers and Power Rangers knows no bounds, for example). Maybe it's another one of those things Meant To Be Watched While Stoned. I'm convinced it was written that way.

I'll give another couple of weeks, the promos looked like cool and irreverent takes on pop culture favorites, so I like the idea of it. It was just bland but still watchable to me, unlike say "Tom Goes to the Mayor" or "The Brak Show" which I actively loathe and found myself checking the clock when I tried to watch either one. When a 10-12 minute show is so bad that time seems to slow down, then I know it's not worth watching.

I thought it was quite funny, liked the Prime commerical and the Brain on drugs was kind of insane(the good insane like the lady with the frying pan) . I think my favorite was the one sided fights segment. Ouch. Hope it doesn't go down in flames in a couple of episodes because it's got promise to be really good.
