A quote about them from Ruggero Deodato, who directed them in "The Barbarians":

"They were two big American brothers, completely mad and full of steroids."

I've been trying to find their movie Double Trouble on dvd but alas it seems only available on vhs.  Yes, the movie is lame- but it is also very funny.  I used to see these two (with their girlfriends who both had horrible hair and horrible makeup- yikes!) at a grocery store where I worked years ago, and although I found them to be very off-putting in person they really are funny together in this movie.  I think for a couple of hormonally enhanced guys they are playful and humorous in character.
I am just curious, does anybody know any biographical info about them?  There doesn't seem to be any out there.
Anyone know if they lost the mullets yet?
Yes, they did dress in raggedy clothes with tied on bandanas and construction boots all the time!

I  think the reason the Rob Bloom article comes up so much is because when you do a web search about the brothers its one of the few things that show up, I found that article before I found this site.

You need I really like their movie and theirs nothing wrong with them. What gives anyone the right to bad mouth another person or persons?Everyone has to make a living and that's what really counts. So if anyone thinks they can do a much better job then go make a movie and us judge your movie.I've seen moves that should never made on film like Cabin Fever,Wrong Turn both of them The House on the right and all the Saw movies. So bad mouthing the movies the brothers made look at the ones now and ask yourself was they really that bad?

I always thought they were pretty entertaining if not also pretty goofy. I wouldn't mind seeing them make some more movies, not at all. I've still got my fingers crossed for a sequel to D.C. Cab.

you want to talk about bad movies! how about Peter Paul and David Paul...the Barbarian Brothers. They made a bunch of bad movies together in the 80s. This is a really funny article about their career

Good article. I like the Barbarian Brothers.  I have seen most of their movies.  Liked them all.

I haven't seen most of their movies but did see the Barbarian one.  I enjoyed it quite a bit.  Much better then most things I have seen recently.  Maybe not production or logic but I found it much more enjoyable and fun to watch.
