trying to figure out what movie this is..

ok i saw it back on usa up all night (anyone remember that show) probably 10 years ago.. it had some kind of monsters in a mall i believe and the only part i remember is two of them grabbed a person and started pulling each end of him/her from the head and the legs until he/she ripped in half.. anyone have any idea what movie this is?

ZOMBI 2/ZOMBIE takes place on a Caribbean island, not in a mall. So, other than both movies having zombies, how is it a rip-off?

In response to the movie identification, are you thinking of CHOPPING MALL? The monsters in it though were out of control security robots.

It sounds like Chopping Mall...was it a robot looking thing? Was it made in the 80's and set in a mall? Cuz that's what it sounds like.

I think it's "we ripped that guy/girl in half while we were at the mall"....pretty sure.

Sounds like Dawn of the Dead to me. Especially if the effects were really grotesque.

I own Chopping Mall on DVD and I don't remember any scenes in it where someone is ripped in half.

It's gotta be "Dawn of the Dead."
