Here's a lovely little something I decided to get off my chest...
I’m turning twenty in June and I think I’m having a quarter life crisis (hah). Turning twenty sounds harmless enough, which masks its true ee-vil. When you’re young, life is great. You turn sixteen and you are then allowed to become a horrible road hazard (slow down). Seventeen grants you admission into R-rated movies (awesome). Turning eighteen endows one with new responsibilities (Hey, now I can legally buy cigarettes!) and hardships (statutory rape). Turning nineteen is not bad; things are no different than when you were eighteen, you are just, kind of older. But then you turn twenty. Now you are no longer a teenager and are expected to be responsible for the dumb s**t you do (smoking ain’t cool bro, and get away from my sister). What’s worse, you aren’t considered a full-fledge adult by the government (no beer) and older people look down on you with contempt, offering you advise and disapproving of all that you do (watching sci-fi originals).
So what is a twenty-year-old? What the hell am I going to become? Hey there slick, you criminally-responsible-non-teenager-that-can’t-drink-alcohol. Somebody help me! I don’t want to turn twenty. Either help me skip a year, or just come up with a title for this awkward age. I need an identity!

Don't worry you're three years my senior and I already disapprove of people watching sci-fi originals because at least  %75 (a little low I think) are crap. Unless your want to watch them for crap (kind of how I watch Alien Warrior for the unbelieve crapness it is)

Does that make you feel any better?

Honestly Slick, I wish I was facing that problem. You think that's bad, wait until you get older.

What's wrong with being 41? I googled 41 year old and got some interesting results (rated pg-13 for general distastfulness):
colonoscopy
Tom from Survivor
Terry Schiavo
Halfway down the page but Germany Rattled By New Gay Cannibal
and of course.... Sum41

hmm, didn't realise others besides Menard had posted.
To 30-year-olds: I feel your pain. I saw Shaun of the Dead. A quarter life crisis with less hair!
The rest of you take heart, my tongue was firmly in my cheek when I posted this. However, if you feel so inclined I could google your age as well.

Aha! Apparently I am a young wipper-snapper compared to your old ass there Menard, I'm 38. Of course, the way time flies at this age, I'll be 41 in a month or so.

Heh..heh...heh

I like your retort.

The worst is 39. When someone asks you what age you are, and you reply "39", you can imagine the smart alecs who reply "No, really, what are you; 42?". (:
