who's seen "Return of the Aliens Deadly Spawn"? i didnt see the review here. its fantastic!

and does anyone know the name of that movie about this big alien guy from outerspace who snag about being a "big meat eater" - was that the name of the movie? there was also a "chemical song" by these two scientist guys, very 80s.. cant remember too much else. what was its name??

The song with the guy (Abdhul the Butcher) singing "Big Meat Eater" is a Canadian film called The Big Meat Eater.  It's a great flick that for some reason hasn't found an audience.

And yes, Return of the Aliens: The Deadly Spawn is amazing.  It's one of my favourite low budget horror movies.

"The Deadly Spawn" had an interesting monster; I liked the Lovecraft feel to the thing.  There was also the unexpected demise of certain female elements (about darn time, they always survive or turn out to be the monster themselves).

I had heard that it was coming out on DVD in 2002, but cannot find it listed anywhere.  Cannot remember where I heard about the DVD release either.  Curses!

The original Deadly Spawn had a great ending, I've yet to see any of the sequels. Big Meat Eater is one movie that I've always wanted to get my hands on, the first time I saw anything about it was on the Palace release of Basket Case. I did see it on display in a video shop but it was a Betamax copy.
