Big movie companies are always whining about how much it costs to put extras on disks. Last year Tristar said that the reason that region 2 DVD's have a lot less on them than their US counterparts is that it costs around $1 million to recode
all the extra stuff and yet Tristar have just released a second version of Pitch Black with all the stuff that was missing from the original.

This trend seems to be repeating itself, Warner cry about how much DVD cost to produce and yet they keep rolling out The Exorcist DVD's, O Brother Where Art Thou? has just been re-released. Disney releases two different versions of most of their new DVD's on the same day.

My heart pumps p**s for most of the big studios...

and don't get me started on region coding!!!
