I would love to find that music on CD. It sounds a little like "Tracy's Theme" from the TV version of Philadelphia Story.

When I was a kid, I had a Robin Hood "books on tape" type audiotape that had the theme they used for Dr. Cortner's run (with his girlfriend's head under his arm) on it. The tape has long since been destroyed, and it wasn't until long afterwards, when I first saw the MST3k version of the film, that I suddenly remembered where I'd heard that music before... probably "stock music" or something that was made available to the makers of the film.

If by "made availabe" you mean stolen  I think you may be right. But since the entire film is the public domain and there is no dialogue in that very long running scene...it's possible that Robin Hood stole it from the poor and gave it to th poorer and they lifted it off the movie for the cassette.

What I was refering to was the saxaphone music that plays everytime Dr. Cortner goes shopping for a body. On MST3K it plays while he drives around stalking women and the bots remark that he is listening to "K-PORN 103." IT sounds like a cross between "Tracy's Theme" and "Harlem Nocturn."
