Punks not Ded sez Rich

Well this was a weird one. our main charater Dr. Yuan is cursed by a tribe sorcerer in Thailand for interfering with one of their rituals. The curse is every day for several days a blood vessel pops starting with his leg ending with his heart popping. He enlists the aid of Wei (Chow Yun- Fat !) to find out how to break the curse.

This movie is a mixture of campy b-movie cheese and kung-fu. The gore and monsters are interesting (a flying baby monster) and a skeleton that transforms. Chow Yun-Fat is only in the movie for grand total of ten mintues and doesn't fight so don't expect a really good kung-fu fights.

Overall I recommend for rent and its at least worth a look.

I own this one.  It'd created by the people who did Black Cat and Story of Riki, if that helps anyone who might be interested.  Tons of random stuff in this one.  By the way, CYF's character and the lead are from a super popular Chinese book series.  CYF's character is Wisely (or sometimes Wesley, I believe), and he is in other HK movies as well - such as Black Cat.

Seventh Curse has a lot going for it - some random fights thrown in, a ton of gore, some amusing creatures, completely tossed in nudity...  But somehow it doesn't quite equal the sum of its parts.  Still, entertaining and worth a shot.

I'll give it a 7/10.  If I was using slimes, I'd put it at 3.
