Target $1 DVD finds

[Ed, Ego and Superego]

I was just digging in the cheapie DVDs at Target and found the following:

Jungle Book starring Sabu the Jungle Boy (Of Jungle Hell "fame", I believe)
Another collection of Felix the Cat silent shorts
Silent "The Lost World" double feature with "The Giant Gila Monster"

and at Wal-Mart
"Killer Shrews" for $1

There were more, but those were my personal choices, I only had $5 on me.

Sabu did a lot of movies, including several 'arabian nights' type movies.

The Lost World is probably the shortest version I'm aware of.  There's an extended DVD of almost double the 52 minute length of the $1 DVD.  But hey, it IS $1.  I don't think I'd want it extended anyway, as it is interesting as history and sometimes entertaining (especially the dinoaurs), but I don't think it'd hold up well with 40 minutes of extra character development and plot.

I'm jealous of the Killer Shrews find.  About the only good $1 deal I've gotten at WalMart was Night of the Living Dead.
