These are the 7 films I viewed in November and how I rated them:

The Manchurian Canidate (original) ****
George Carlin HBO Special ****
Bite the Bullitt ****
Meet the Fockers ****
Gigli ***
Poncho Villa (70's Savalas Version)***
Wag the Dog ***

This is an all time low with only 7 films.

Scott...are you feeling ok? Even I watched more films this month than you did. Get yourself to a doctor, man.

Been thinking about it Odinn7. What must I be doing?

I should make it to double digits in December.

Could it be??? Has Scott exhausted his options for movie watching??  I think perhaps the whole Gigli incident has shocked your system into Movie-meltdown and as such you are slowly and tenderly making your way back to full strength...

Well, I hope everything improves with December viewings.  For safety's sake don't watch any Ben Affleck or Jennifer Lopez flicks this month until you have built up a respectable line-up [who am I kidding, stay away from them period...]

All shall right itself in time for the silly season.

Seven movies?!?

That is your usual daily dose of movies.

I agree with Banjo Billy; get thyself to a doctor.

We're all here for you.

Godspeed

Glad you enjoyed this one Scott.  It was one of those great films that had slipped past me, until last Christmas, when I was given the original and the remake on DVD.  The remake is trash, but the original really surprised me.  Love the scene with all of the hypnotized soldiers in Korea.

Actually, now that I think about it, this is probably my favorite of Frankenheimer's films.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Yea, MANCURIAN CANIDATE is creepy in more ways than one. The film was made in 1962 a year before JFK was assassinated in 1963, and Frank Sinatra stars in this film. Talk about a web of conspiracy. Also the idea that that Senators family (the mother in particular) was raising their child to be an assassin was really way out there.

I can remember last year at this time I was watching 30 movies a month. I think I did this for about 6 months last year. It was a harsh schedule as I had to work around all my other activities. I need about 1 year to finish all the films I have on my list. Only one year to complete if I could average 30 films a month again.

Lately I have had a number of unexpected things going on at home that has taken up all my time, but I hope to resume my movie marathon someday in the future.

What if.......what if..........I never get back to my 30 movies a month again? The Horror......The Horror........
