As everyone has had their say as to their favorite movie, I think I will have my say; or, 20 reasons I favor the movies at
www.badmovies.org over those up for an Oscar. "The Beastmaster":
(1) for the death of the ferret--cried like a baby at that one, (2) for Marc Singer, and (3) for the scene where he meets his stick-twirling younger brother -- "Cemtery Man": (4) for its grave humor -- "Krull": (5)for its action sequences, especially the ride of the Fire Mares sequence and (6) for the characters in the film -- "Lair of the White Worm": (7) for the music, (8) for Amanda Donahoe and (9) for her seducing the boys scout in the film--giving a whole new meaning to the term "love bite," (10) for the character of Kevin the Scout, and (11) for its "kick "em in the gut" sense of humor -- "The Mummy" (12) for Boris Karloff and (13) for the scene where he goes for "a little walk" -- "The Tingler": (14) for Vincent Price -- "Wizards": (15) for its action sequences and (16) for the final confrontation between Avatar and Black Wolf. ROTFL -- "Plan 9 from Outer Space," "Santa
Claus Conquerors the Martians," and "Terror of Tiny Town": (17) for their being just so damn awful. And as an added extra bonus . . . "Flash Gordon": (18) for its action sequences, (19) for Brian Blessed, Timothy Dalton, and Max Von Sydow, and (20) especially for the music by Queen. I wish they'd do a sequel. Enjoy.
