^^ I recall Netflix streaming The Bubble, a COVID-themed comedy film directed by Judd Apatow. Released on April 1, 2022, it follows a cast and crew trapped inside a pandemic hotel "bubble" while trying to finish a fictional dinosaur sequel called Cliff Beasts. Social media was outraged ("TOO SOON!") and it seemed like everyone hated it.

Then there was Stuck Together (8 Rue de l'Humanité), a French comedy film directed by Dany Boon about quirky neighbors dealing with the Paris lockdown. It got so-so reviews.

I wonder why people think that there is so much money in weapons manufacturing. Maybe it's because movies always have armament manufacturers as being the biggest and most powerful ones in the world. The truth is the percentage of budgets spend on military matters is generally a tiny percentage (2 to 5% of most national budgets). The world's largest arms company makes about 65 billion US dollars in sales per year, compared to 500 billion in sales for a company like Amazon.

Well my brother is planning to bring bacon cheeseburger pizza over tomorrow for dinner.  I'm hoping that he'll at least listen after I asked for either a pepperoni or a taco pizza.  It's all kind of dependent on what my nieces want for dinner.  He said he was going to get three pizzas for tomorrow.  One bacon cheeseburger, one pepperoni, and one cheese.  I hope he'll swap out the pepperoni or cheese for a taco pizza.  I'm thinking that if he doesn't I'll just sit out dinner tomorrow evening.
