The Bill Murray movie Groundhog's Day never explains why any of this is happening to Bill's character.

In one of the early versions of the script, there's scene that shows one of his co-workers putting a curse on him using a tarot, card, a chicken bone, one of Bill's business cards, and a book called 101 Curses, Spells and Enchantments You Can Do at Home.

When I watched Groundhog Day for the first time, together with my mom, she didn't understand why all the others didn't notice they were in a loop as well.
Is it October yet?

They're not! They continue on, the next day. How? I don't know; perhaps Bill Murray winds up in a different parallel universe each day. To ask "how" probably is overthinking things anyways.

Tonight's stinker
The Girl On A Motorcycle 1968
Billed as a Eurotrash skin flick, It comes across as trying (and failing) at being artsy.....
A young woman unhappily married to a wimpy school teacher hops on her bike & heads out to meet her lover...
Along the way, she talks to herself & ponders how she ended up with both men...
The bike is cool, but most scenes are green screened...

^ is there a scene where they are eating fondue?
yes...
Probably the most riffable part of the movie....
It takes place at a ski lodge, where one of the characters wears a yellow jumpsuit & red hat, making him look like Ronald McDonald......

My daily puzzle challenge on Wordscapes this morning had all the words backwards!
I freaked out when it accepted "teef" as a word - then I checked the definition and it said: "The plural of "foot" !"
