Oh God, that movie is sooo bad. Michael Myers being defeated by a martial arts, one-liner spewing Busta Rhymes.

When you put it that way, it sounds like one of the more interesting installments in the franchise.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Man, when are you guys gonna talk about REALLY bad movies on this thread?

How about THE BLOOD SHED?

Or maybe NINJA BACHELOR PARTY?

Or (I still have PTSD from how awful this one was!) - FAMILY PROPERTY: BACKWOODS HILLBILLY MASSACRE
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

considering the rule for this thread was "movies you get no enjoyment from" here's the movies voted for in this thread which I like, either genuinely or in a So-bad-it's-good way:

HIGHLANDER 2
ROCKY 5
EXORCIST II
SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE
EASY RIDER
SLEEPAWAY CAMP
JAWS: THE REVENGE
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
BIRDEMIC
THE BIG LEBOWSKI
THE ROOM
CANNIBAL FEROX

I have bought all of these on dvd or bluray. (except THE ROOM which I was surprised to find out has never been distributed, when I tried to track down a copy... Now I can't remember how I managed to see the entire thing? it must've been in full on youtube at some point cause I don't do streaming)

I believe it is free on YouTube.
It's so bad that it is almost majestic in its awfulness.
Almost.

Not one I've seen myself, but I am surprised that Boxing Helena hasn't appeared at some point.

yes it's on YT... just watched the first 10 mins. like how almost everyone sounds dubbed by Hicks voice

I only watched ET once, in the theater @ age 5. After a gripping first 15 minutes that seemed like an awesome horror movie, I was truly horrified and outraged to have to endure 90 minutes of cutesy comedy w/ these dumb kids having chuckles w/ this grotesque-looking mutant creep that was probably poisoning them w/ interstellar radiation. I WAS briefly relieved when the military came and apprehended the xenomorph, but then those rat fink kids release it and ride bikes past the moon and UGH.  :hatred:     Maybe the first movie I actively hated as a kid. F-ing Spielberg at his Spielbergiest.

I much prefer MAC AND ME!

Also BOXING HELENA isn't all that bad... it is boring and disappointing, but not truly bad. Better than ET, surely.

interesting sub-plot to the thread... 'what was the first movie you ever remember not liking'?

having said that I don't actually know what mine would be, haha...

I do remember a friend at primary school saying there was a new film coming out called 'MASSACRED', which sounded totally awesome to the 10 yr old me... cue disappointment when I found out it turned out to be romantic 'thriller' MASQUERADE.

M.10rda

While we're on the topic, 12yo-ish me didn't like MASQUERADE starring Rob Lowe, either. :)

even if it was great I'd still have an irrational grudge against it for not being an ultraviolent slashfest  :teddyr:

Are we talking bad movies that we actually kind of enjoy despite their low quality or films we just outright despise?

Because those are two very different lists for me
