Oh, man, if anyone thinks that giant's shocking, my cousin is making Busan, South Korea her next destination, and she was telling me how Koreans (maybe just South Koreans, I'm not sure) have few to no taboos about displays of the male member in art and architecture and advertising and sports or children's toys or anything else, and when I asked if she was sure it was that open, she showed me websites where there were pictures of carvings of phalluses on buildings in Seoul and Busan and elsewhere, showed me they were often inked into tattoos, how they were beloved commercial characters, and how there were sports mascots that were walking talking penises. Koreans even stroll around unabashedly slurping on phallic lollipops and popsicles, and add the genitals of various animals to their dishes. They've taken this to a level I've never imagined, maybe surpassing ancient Rome. I think even that giant would feel outdone.

And she's going over into the midst of this. Hmm, coincidence, I wonder?
