the in-depth covid test I took last Thursday came back negative

-- still planning on getting a rapid test tomorrow provided by the school district cuz

1) that was the day my symptoms started so it might not be completely accurate

2) I need a more recent one I can take a picture of the results to email to the district covid team and see what happens

I took my second test today. Still positive, but zero symptoms since Tuesday morning, so under current guidelines I am allowed to go back to work tomorrow as long as I mask up, which I will.

Teaching through a screen SUCKS.

had a passenger from Mass general the other night. she described a patient: pregnant woman 28 years old, in a coma. as a result the 30 week old baby had a stroke if the mother ever wakes up she will give birth to a baby who will die in minutes.

She works with people and the public: so do I and I have had 2 jabs so I feel there's really no excuse for not having it.

That is me all back home after 5 or 6 weeks of stabbing people with needles. I'd estimate I've vaccinated somewhere between 600 to 1,000 people during that time. It feels like one of the more worthwhile things I've done during my 20-year career, but it feels damn good to be back home now. There has been a lot of interesting people during that time, some who were terrified of needles, running the gamut through to a couple who got a sexual kick out of the whole thing and wanted to stay to watch other people and a retired nurse who thought there was a major artery in her outer shoulder that we might accidentally sever.

What kind of nurse she was I have no idea, although the thought did occur "not a very good one".

A lot of the people who were terrified of needles afterwards did comment that they hardly felt a thing as it went in (and I tormented Dean a lot that this wasn't the first time he'd heard that from a woman).

The report into his behaviour hasn't been released in full due to the police investigation into the parties at his house so there is more to come.

Did he now? I haven't seen that yet but I have been following this case. His mishandling of getting caught out has amazed me. Even the Queen followed protocols, and she's the sovereign and can do whatever she wants. During the lockdown she could have literally streaked naked down Fleet Street, throwing bottles of hooch onto the pavement while snacking on filleted puppies, and legally no one could have done a damn thing, yet, setting a good example, she complied.

BJ thought he was above the queen.
