It's so senseless.   I wish I could inflict just punishment on the people who f**ked this all up with their lies.

Start with China. If COVID-19 supposedly has a natural origin, then why is China blaming the U.S. for creating the virus?

^ What do you care who started it? I worry about morons who aren't trying to stop it. (Koff koff ahem).

Go rake a forest, Tickle Me Zelmo.

Zapranoth seems to care. Why don't you ask him why he cares and wants to exact just punishment upon the people that f**ked this all up with their lies?
First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
Third rule is, 'Don't talk to commies'
Fourth rule is, 'Eat kosher salamis'

it took many thousands of years to happen but it seems we have finally stumbled upon a situation where all human beings are not in total 100% agreement with each other.

hopefully this is a freak one-off, and not the start of some recurring trend.

we've always known there were people that were dumber than a pile of dog s**t but i don't think none of us knew how many there were living out in the states who live here anyways well we didn't know the percentage was that high until covid hit.

Oh, I wouldn't say it took Covid to be the great unmasker of ignorance, mate; it seems some people loudly reveal their stupidity just by their sentence structure when they write.

"who started it" is very significant. China is a totalitarian country and they are a threat to us because they don't believe in transparency. If Covid had started in kansas we would have a culprit and determined the cause and so forth

The first recorded case of Spanish Flu was in Kansas, but news of it was covered up.

As I recall, it was not so much "covered up" as just not recognized for what it was at first.  The initial wave of the Spanish influenza was not nearly as deadly as the second and third wave.  But yes, modern research has shown it did originate in Kansas.

The nations involved in the Great War did not want news of it getting out and affecting morale, so suppressed reports of it. US military doctors had recommended a raft of measures designed to halt its spread quite early on, but only a very watered-down version of them was adopted (I believe one draft was delayed and troopship capacity was reduced). It was indeed the later waves that were more deadly as you say though. It became known as Spanish flu because as a non-belligerent nation, Spain was reporting on it quite freely (including when the king caught it). Reports of similar infections amongst the leaders of the allied nations was also covered up, generally reporting them to have a normal cold.
