Did a quick search and saw this article published today. https://www.forbes.com/sites/roberthart/2022/03/08/most-side-effects-from-pfizer-moderna-covid-shots-are-mild-and-short-lived-major-study-finds/

Could it be trending because of the study being released today and be nothing to worry about at all?

Covid deaths and infections have gone down dramatically here in the last months or so, there seemed to be light at the end of the proverbial tunnel and then this idiot panics that he is no longer in the spotlight

A fifth wave in April? Oh, how convenient.  :tongueout:

the second pfizer shot knocked me on my ass. I was out for a week. there is a running sort of suspicion that it is tied to various heart maladies

I had the Pfizer shot twice: the first time I was very, very tired to the point where I told my bosses that I would have to take a day or so off and I slept throughout those days and the second jab I had gave me terrible pain, so much so that I couldn't sleep.

A booster shot later? No thanks.  :tongueout:

Just when I thought it was over, my brother (a doctor) contracts Covid. My test today was negative, though.

I trust your brother will be OK, Rev.

And our National State of Disaster has also been renewed for another month.... :bluesad:

I hate to use the words "stupid" and "woman" in the same sentence but that person pictured qualifies: she is the idiot who declared that you couldn't buy alcohol and cigarettes during lockdown (which led to a huge increase in the sale of illegal booze and fake / non taxable smuggled smokes) and she also tried to enforce which items of clothing you could and couldn't buy during that period.  :hatred:

Yeah, I'm sure he will. He's vaxxed to the hilt. He just sees so many Covid positive patients that it was inevitable he'd catch it sometime. I've now had two cousins, two second cousins, and a brother come down with it, and no one has gotten seriously ill. The main thing is to make sure my parents aren't exposed.

We are currently (8:24 pm our time) having one of the dreaded "family meetings"  :buggedout: - where the President addresses the nation - but for once he has some good news in that sports stadiums can now accept 50% capacity and that mask wearing outside is no longer compulsory.

Beginning April 3rd Bavaria, Germany (where I live) is getting rid off almost all covid restrictions except for hospitals, retirement homes and public transportation which still requires people to wear masks.

Nice, but people I know still get infected. Two friends just contracted covid last weekend

Is it October yet?

Our Health authorities (Canada) admitted this morning that all the indications say we are heading into a 6th wave, led by the BA.2 variant.  They just don't have much idea of how 'big' it is going to be.  The fun continues.

The more people get infected, the more opportunities there are for variants to arise.  Sheer numbers.

We have another dreaded "family meeting" tonight: people are hoping that the mask issue will be dropped and that the state of disaster will be stopped. We live in hope. 😁

Our national state of disaster has been lifted after almost two years: we still have to wear these face nappies indoors though.
