February is "Bring a friend to Badmovies.org" month! Help spread the b-movie love by telling people about Badmovies.org and you might win a free copy of the "Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection Volume 2" DVD set! This set includes the following movies: "The Deadly Mantis," "Dr. Cyclops," "Cult of the Cobra," "The Land Unknown," and "The Leech Woman." The DVDs are Region 1 (United States & Canada). Read below for all the details.
HOW TO ENTER
Introduce a friend to Badmovies.org by telling them about it, emailing them, or showing them the site (no spamming please - only people that you think might enjoy the site). You can also submit a review to Digg or StumbleUpon via the links at the bottom of the review, in the extras section.
Then, post in this forum thread. If you want, tell me how you shared the site, such as "I Stumbled the 'Monster that Challenged the World' review, because I like snails." or "I emailed the site to a friend who loves bad horror movies.". If you are not a regular forum poster, make sure the email address you provide is a valid one. I need to be able to contact you via it if you win!
ENTRY DEADLINE
All entries must be received by 29 February 2008.
ELIGIBILITY
No purchase is necessary to enter. This contest is open to persons of 18 years or older in the United States or Canada. Employees of Badmovies.org or their immediate family are not eligible.
ENTRY RULES
Entries are limited to one per person. Blank, incomplete, or unreadable entries, or entries submitted by any automatic means will be disqualified. Entries are validated by email address. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the owner of the email address will be awarded the prize.
WINNER SELECTION
Two winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries on or after 1 March 2008. To be selected, entrants must have posted in the forum thread by 29 February 2008. The chance of winning is dependent on the number of entries.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners shall be notified via their email address no more than 5 days after selection. The winner must respond within 5 days of the attempted notification. Failure to respond within 5 days will result in forfeiture of the prize and Badmovies.org will randomly select an alternate winner from the remaining valid entries.
WINNER RESPONSIBILITIES
Winners must provide Badmovies.org with a valid mailing address in the United States or Canada and an emailed statement affirming that they are 18 years of age or older. Winners' name will be posted on this page upon completion of the contest.
PRIZES
Two copies of the "Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection Volume 2." Estimated value of each prize is $20.
GENERAL RULES
By entering, participants agree to be bound by the contest rules. This contest is void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Any tax liability, if any, is the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Participants agree to release Badmovies.org from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from or connected with participating in this contest or being selected as a winner.
