This monster-in-a-mine movie follows the standard checklist without flaw. However, the stop-motion horror is a real humdinger, because it looks like a woo mama. I had no idea that those grew that big!

Guest review by Jimmi Campkin. This is probably the most complete Ed Wood film. If you ignore the clunky dialogue, turn a blind eye to the glaring errors, and wade through the stock footage, there is some semblance of a coherent plot.

The plot is just a run-of-the-mill story about a mad scientist turning people into water cyborgs, but the characters' overacting and wholly inappropriate reactions make this an unforgettable b-movie.

What is left of the Brody family is pursued all the way to the Caribbean by yet another hungry great white shark. What struck me as unusual is when the shark ate a plane. That doesn't happen very often.

What troubles me the most about this film is the pointlessness of reviewing it. I am not going to convince a gaga fanboy to avoid it, and everyone else already knows that a movie based on a video game should be avoided at all costs.
